Machinery used for fibreglass processing mostly generate two types of completely different pollutants: dusts and styrene.
Suitable, localised aspiration is ensured by special shaped grasps which guarantee pollutant evacuation. In other cases, the positioning of suction arms/walls with vents is the simplest solution.
The sucked up flow is sent to a bag/cartridge filter with filtering medium cleaning by means of counter compressed air impulses, followed by a tower with active carbon filling.
The tower is sized according to parameters established by regulations and/or guidelines for best abatement strategy technologies (BAT). The most significant include:
•    contact time,
•    bed height,
•    crossing speed.
The loading and off loading of carbon is easier and safer.
