Aluminium Foundry/ Pressure Die-Casting

Various operations carried out inside an aluminium foundry develop different types of pollutant, requiring treatment according to characteristics.
All phases involving dry pollutant, albeit at different temperatures, require management by a pre-abator (if deemed indispensable, subject to our assessment) and Pulse Jet bag filters with filtering media ranging from polyester to pure PTFE.
Capturing systems are designed ad hoc according to actual plant requirements, to improve the end result: removing pollutant from the work environment. Please note that aluminium dust is classed St1 according to the Atex regulation and consequently all components installed in hazardous areas require Ex certification.
With very humid pollutant, typical of the  pressure die-casting, we use a type of filter called a Demister (panel), which is simpler compared to its predecessor, but much more effective with detaching aerosols.
