As the name suggests, pre-separator cyclones are pre-abatement systems for coarse material present in flows requiring treatment.
The principle is based on a centrifugal force caused by the tangential entry of polluted air, with successive substance decantation towards the lower part of the system.
They are classified according to abatement performance (high, medium, low) and can be made from various materials, also with anti-wear coating (Hardox, ceramic, refractory).
